Hervé N’Kaoua was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. In 1990, he was Premier piano in the class of Dominique Merlet, Premier Prix de Musique de Chambre in the class of Jean-Claude Pennetier, and completed a diploma in music analysis. He has won several international competitions since 1991: laureate of the Menuhin Foundation, laureate of Musique d’Ensemble, finalist at the International Young Concert Artist Competition of Royal Tunbridge Wells (UK). After becoming a piano teacher, he joined the Ecole de Musique du Havre in 1995 and was appointed at the Conservatoire National de Région de Bordeaux in 1997. In 1999, Hervé N’Kaoua was chosen by the Communauté Urbaine de Bordeaux and French newspaper Sud-Ouest to represent the city of Bordeaux. That same year, he was appointed as president of the French section of the European Piano Teacher Association (EPTA). In September 2008, Hervé N’Kaoua was appointed as Piano Teacher at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon. Since then, he has performed several concerts in France and abroad, including concerts with: l’Ensemble des Solistes de l’Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, the Calgary Philarmonic Orchestra, l’Orchestre de Chambre de la Gironde, les Symphonistes d’ Aquitaine, l’Orchestre Régional de Porto, l’Orchestre de Chambre de Bordeaux (direction Lionel Gaudin- Villard)… He is also the Artistic Director of Les Estivales de Musique en Médoc since the creation of the festival and has accompanied renowned soloists including Roland Daugareil, Tasso Adamopoulos, Michel Michalakakos, Arnaud Thorette, Nemanja Radulovic, Sarah and Deborah Nemtanu, Etienne Péclard, Sergey Antonov, Florent Boffart, Julien Baudiment…
