Yusuke Kobori was born in Japan in 1986.

In 2005 he was admitted to the Kunitachi College of Music where he studied opera singing until 2011. After graduating from college, he won the Yatabe Prize. From 2011 to 2012, he studied opera singing at the Opera Studio of Tokyo Nikikai. From 2012 to 2015, he joined the Opera Studio of the National Theatre in Tokyo. In November 2014, he won the special Prize « Tamaki Miura » at the 7th International Competition of Shizuoka Opera. He is also the 79th laureate of Yomiuri Competition.

He studied with Takashi Fukui and Yumiko Wariva.

In March 2015 he was awarded a scholarship allowing him to study abroad.

He performed many roles among which: Ferrando (Cosi Fan Tutte / Mozart), Tamino (la Flûte enchantée / Mozart), Brighella ( Ariane à Naxos / Richard Strauss), Paolino ( Le mariage secret / Domenico Cimarosa), Le Comte Alberto (L’Occasion fait le larron/ Rossini), le Comte de Libenskof (Le voyage à Reims/ Rossini).

He now lives in Bologna, Italy, where he studies Italian and opera singing with Sergio Bertocci.
